Book Takes First Place Award

“Don’t Miss the Boat, Cruising Through the Leisure Years” won first place in the travel category at the 14th Annual Colorado Independent Publishers Association’s award dinner held March 28 in Denver. CIPA is a non-profit statewide cooperative of independent book publishers.

This book, is for arm chair travelers everywhere. Janet & Perry paint such wonderful, vivid pictures of the glorious ports they visited, on their QE2 World cruise. Also,the peek into the infamous laundry room, and dance hosts, sure gave me a giggle. Surely, once the last page has been turned, a phone call to a travel agent is almost a given! I loved this “great read!”
