Prinsendam wins kudos
By Janet Go | March 21, 2010
Holland America’s Prinsendam was praised by world cruisers, according to the “Ocean & Cruise News.” The Prinsendam scored first placeĀ in the itinerary and shore excursion categories. They also placed 15th out of 25 ships in the overall category, a summation of all categories. I enjoyed a South American cruise on the Prinsendam in 2009 and I agree with those cruisers’ opinion. The ship is medium size, which means it’s perfect for sailing up the Amazon River and skirting icebergs in Antarctica alleys, and fjords of Chile. The food was excellent during the trip and the Crow’s Nest was the best place for happy hour. The dance hosts were great, too. Congrats to the Prinsendam!
