When Grace Hilferty, a 61-year-old divorcee, retires to a Colorado mountain valley, she has no idea that her college sweetheart also lives there. One day, Grace accidentally meets Brad Berger, 69, on the very slopes they had skied as students some 36 years earlier.
Brad, who moved to the valley after his wife died, and Grace ski together and take treks around the historic, scenic valley. Soon, the former lovers regain the passion they once felt for each other. Does their romance survive a few pitfalls? An avalanche? Will they live happily ever after?
